This is a nice piece of
equipment for use with a punch press. Have two of these systems. These
systems were built by us to automate the parts collection from a 45 Ton
Minster OBI. We conveyed the small parts from the stamping operation
thru the back of the press on a low profile conveyor and dropped the
parts into a fiberglass tote pan. The tote pan sits on a digital
counting scale (counts how many parts are in the pan). When the preset
part count is reached (counting scale), this system will separate the
nested tote pans, drop a single pan, push the empty pan into position
on the scale, push the filled pan off (onto a gravity roller conveyor).
Allows the press to run continually without stopping for material
handling. Has interlocks for tie-in to the press control, operator
alert lamp, and scale controller. It works great. They are 115V AC and
have Allen-Bradley Micro-Logix PLC control. We will sell it as a
complete system roller outfeed conveyor. We can also sell a low profile
conveyor if a customer is interested. Attached are photos of one
system. We have a large number of totes available if needed.
